Pre-School Dance for Little Feet: Footsteps pre-school dance program is guided by our qualified and God honoring studio. Beginners as young as 3 will find fun and learning go hand in hand at Footsteps Dance Academy. Creative movement, Ballet Basics, Tap, "Just Jazzy Time" and Irish Introduction are foundational at Footsteps. Start here and watch your little budding ballerina blossom into the dancer of his or her dreams!
Recreational Students who LOVE TO DANCE: Are welcome here at Footsteps! from 3 to adult, not every one who loves to dance wants to be a ballerina! We welcome all dance enthusiasts. Classes in ballet, lyrical, Irish step, Ceili Dancing, Jazz, tap, Contemporary and creative movement enrich the lives of children and teens. Our caring and mature staff add fun and creativity to each class.
Career Bound Students: Footsteps offers a comprehensive program of Classical Ballet in the Balanchine & Vaganova technique for the serious student. Pointe, repertory, contemporary and jazz round out the program. Performance opportunities with Footsteps Irish Dancers and The Atlantic Youth Ballet are by audition only and increase the serious student's awareness of professional work ethic, hours and artistry. Optional Tap and Irish Step Dance classes keep dancers aerobically fit and add an element of fun. Guest teachers and special workshops enhance this very unique and caring pre-professional dance program.
